Harmony, a young talented R&B group who started pursuing their career at a young age. The group consist of 2 members Lawrence Harrison, and Donyel Nelson. This group was created in the year of 2007 with a the additude of hard work and sweat. Harmony is a unique name that they had chosen by the group but made up by Lawrence because of the voice of the two members. Growing up seeing Boyz 2 Men, K-CI & JOJO, and other R&B groups in entertainment, Harmony took that as a message to get ready for the music biz. Harmony has been making hit tracks ever since their first track recorded "Girl I Know I Messed Up" which was recorded with a microphone hooked up to a computer and also had the family and friends ready to invest in them. Not only because of the song but the dedication this young R&B group had and performing this song in the front of their family and friends with everyone watching and listening. Both members in Harmony has put out solo tracks before making the decision to be a group. Lawrence & Donyel have been singing since they were young. Lawrence hit single "Pretty Girl" which never was finish because of some situations during that time. Donyel has done many songs but has one song that stands out which is his hit single "Ice Box" which was never really completed either and was made from the regular "Ice Box" beat just with Donyel's own chorus and verse's. Lawrence & Donyel have been working with people in labels and been doing singing lessons to make them better. Lawrence & Donyel are like brothers nothing will break them apart. So for all the fans out there dont look at them as a group that will sell a cd or 2 and then go solo. Trust me that wont happen Beleive That!!!!!! For all the females out there Lawrence & Donyel are currently single. Yes ladies they are single but there mind is set to be in the music biz so there's no time for realtionships...yeh right.... For the haters this is a message from Donyel & Lawrence " for all the haters keep hatin because that makes us better". Harmony has that image of a young R&B group who are ready to make it big in this music biz, with all of this falling in line we are definitely ready to see what happens in the next couple of years. Now Harmony are currently in the studio, doing things in church, and making new tracks for there first album that is about to hit the streets, radio, and internet. Watch out Harmony is climbing to the TOP!!!
A Message From Harmony
First off, we wanna thank God for all that he's done for us. Throught the hard times and the good times. Without him we wouldnt have such good voices. We also wanna give a big thanks to our manager Sean. Even though he's always making moves he still find time to deal with us. Now for the fans and the Harmony supporters we love you all. Okay to the next part, We are currently working on our first mixtape. The due date for the mixtape is July 31. The website you can find and download our mixtape is www.datpiff.com . We will be also giving you updates on how the mixtape is coming along. Also for those who wanna see us perform we are currently doing shows at the Martini's Lounge in DC on H street. If you are not 21 n ova you wouldnt be able to attend it because its a 21 n ova club, but we are working on other shows for 18 n under.
